Terms of use
These are the terms on which Blueprint Studios Private Limited, trading as Blueprint Studios - Law Edition, provides its training and this website. By enrolling, or by using the site, you accept them. Read them with the privacy policy and the refunds and cancellations page, which form part of them.
What the service is
Blueprint Studios - Law Edition provides practical legal training to students, young professionals, law schools, firms and chambers, and the people who hire them. It is a training company. It does not practise law, and it does not give legal advice, representation or opinions. Nothing on this site, and nothing said in a session, creates a lawyer and client relationship, and nothing in the training is advice on any live matter of yours. Anyone who needs advice on a matter should take it from a lawyer engaged for that matter.
Who can enrol
You can enrol as an individual if you are 18 or older. The training is for adults only. A law school, firm, chambers or organisation can enrol its students or staff under a written agreement with us, and where it does, that agreement applies alongside these terms.
Enrolment is complete, and a contract is formed, when we confirm your place in writing after the fee, or the first instalment, has been received.
Fees
Fees are the ones stated to you at the time of enrolment, in Indian rupees. Every price stated is exclusive of GST and any other applicable tax, which is added at the rate in force when the fee is paid. Fees, level names and programme structure may change, and the terms that apply to you are the ones set out when you enrol.
Attendance and conduct
Sessions run at the times notified to you. Where a session has to be moved, you will be told as early as possible and offered another time. You agree to take part in a way that respects the other people in the room, and we may remove a learner whose conduct makes the training unworkable for others, with any refund decided under the refunds and cancellations page.
Certificates
Certificates are issued for training completed with Blueprint Studios - Law Edition. They record what a person has trained in and the level reached, and they carry no accreditation, recognition or qualification from the Bar Council of India, any State Bar Council, any university or any other statutory body. A certificate is not a licence to practise and does not stand in for any qualification the law requires.
Course material
The course material, the level structure, the assessments, the marks and the drawings on this site belong to Blueprint Studios Private Limited. When you enrol you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own learning. You may not copy it for others, publish it, sell it, or use it to run training of your own. Names of institutions, firms and chambers appear for identification only, and belong to their respective owners.
Using this site
You may browse this site and use its forms for their stated purpose. You may not interfere with how it runs, attempt to gain access you are not given, or use anything on it to send unsolicited messages. The site links to services run by others, including the Wix members area, the Google calendar on which calls are booked and the Razorpay payment page, and those services run under their own terms.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide the training with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for a loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for a loss that arises from your reliance on training as if it were legal advice. To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you in connection with any programme, for any claim of any kind including any claim to be indemnified, is limited to the fees you paid for that programme. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Grievances
If something goes wrong, the grievance redressal page names who to write to, and says how quickly you will hear back.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through the grievance route is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, without limiting any right you have as a consumer to approach the consumer commission for your area.
Changes
These terms may change. The version on this page, with its effective date below, is the current one. A change does not affect a programme you have already enrolled in.
